Medical Supdt.Rural Hospital

We are located right in front of the Shilpa Pravesh Station here in Ahmedpur. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. This is a rural hospital, so it isn't like the big private centers you see in the cities. It’s a sturdy building that has seen a lot of use over the years. We deal with everything that comes through the door, from minor scrapes to people who are feeling really under the weather. The staff here lives mostly in the surrounding villages, so we all know each other. It gets a bit dusty because of the trains and the road, but we do our best to sweep up and keep the wards decent. There are times when it’s very quiet and other times when every bed is full. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or decorations. It’s just a place for getting medical help when you need it. The superintendent’s office is usually busy with paperwork and managing the supplies we get. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage. People stop by on their way home from the market or after getting off a train. It’s a very public sort of place. We don't have a big website or anything, we just stay open and help whoever shows up. It is a vital part of Ahmedpur life, even if it looks a bit plain.
