Kirana Store

Our Kirana Store is out in Pangari Village in the Beed District. We are in the Parali V Taluka area. A good landmark to find us is the State Bank of India which is right near our shop. Being close to the bank means there are always people around during the day. This is a rural area so things move at a slower pace than the city. We sell all the daily necessities that people in Pangari need for their homes. I am usually here behind the counter from early morning. It’s a simple building with a tin roof that gets quite loud when it rains. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. Just shelves with the basics. Most of our customers are people we have known for years. They come in to buy oil or spices and stay for a little chat. It’s a good community. Sometimes we run out of things if the supply truck from Parali is late, but people understand how it is. The heat in Beed can be quite tough in the summer so we keep the shop as cool as we can with a small fan. It’s not a big business but it provides for my family and helps the village. We just try to keep enough stock so people don't have to travel far for their shopping. It’s just us doing our thing in Pangari, right next to the bank.
