Khandelwal Dal & Oil Industries

Khandelwal Dal & Oil Industries is located at L-27 in the MIDC Industrial area, Phase-3. We are right near a building called Ashlesha. It’s an industrial part of town, so there are always sounds of machinery and heavy vehicles moving about. Our work involves a lot of processing of different pulses and oils. It’s a big, open space with high ceilings, but it still gets quite hot when the machines are running all day. We spend most of our shifts monitoring the equipment and making sure the quality of the dal is okay. It’s a dusty environment, and we all wear simple work clothes because things get dirty fast. We don't have a fancy lobby or any receptionists. If you come by, you’ll likely just see someone in overalls near the gate. We’ve been at this address for years and have seen the industrial area grow around us. The work is repetitive, but it’s what we know how to do. We pack everything into large sacks and load them onto trucks for delivery. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend hours fixing them, which is frustrating, but that’s part of the life here. We don't really talk much about missions or visions; we just want to get the bags filled and the oil bottled correctly. It’s a hard day’s work every single day, and we just keep going.
