Hotel Sai Pratiksha

We spend a lot of our time here at gut no 38 along the Mumbai Nagpur highway. It’s mostly industrial around here in Waluj MIDC. Being near Aurangabad means there is always a lot of dust and trucks moving back and forth on the Shirdy road. The H P Petrol Pump is right by us in Karodigaon, so we see people stopping for fuel all day and night. It’s not a quiet place because of the highway traffic, but that is just how things are in this part of Maharashtra. We open up early and stay open late because the workers from the nearby factories need a place to stop. Sometimes the heat is quite bad during the afternoons. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people who come in are either traveling to Shirdi or working in one of the MIDC plants. We keep the place running with a small team. Every morning starts with cleaning the front because of all the vehicles passing by. It is a practical spot for a break if you are driving toward Nagpur. We don't have big signs or anything, just the name Hotel Sai Pratiksha. Most locals know where the Karodigaon petrol pump is, so they find us easily enough. Life moves at a certain pace when you are right on the main road.
