Guruganga Beverages

Guruganga Beverages is located out on Latur Road, near Malka Pur. We are in the Udgir taluka, which is a bit of a distance from the main city center. The location is practical because it gives us enough room for the trucks to turn around without getting stuck. Latur can be a very dry place, so being in the beverage business keeps us on our toes regarding the water supply and cooling. Our building is a simple structure that we’ve added onto over time as we needed more space for the crates. Most of the people working here are from Malka Pur or the nearby farms. We don't have a corporate office with carpets; it’s all boots and practical clothes here. The day usually starts with a check of the inventory and a quick tea before the noise of the bottling starts up. We have to deal with the dust from the road quite a bit, so there is a lot of cleaning involved every evening. The routine doesn't change much from season to season. We know the drivers who come by, and we know the shopkeepers in Udgir who buy from us. It’s a local operation through and through. We focus on the daily count and making sure the equipment is greased and working. It’s just us doing our bit out here in the heat. It is a long day but the work is consistent.
