Our operations are based out at Gut No 369 in Himpalner. That’s in the Chakur Taluka over in Latur district. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but for the agro energy work we do, being out here makes sense. We’ve been running Evr Agro Energy Industry for a while now. The focus is mainly on how agriculture and energy needs come together, which is a big topic but we take it one day at a time. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we can get our work done without too many distractions. Being in Latur means we are right in the heart of things. We have a few staff members who grew up around here, so they know the land and the people pretty well. We aren’t interested in sounding like a big city firm. Most of our days are spent checking on projects or dealing with the logistics of moving materials around the district. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that’s just life in Himpalner. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just talk to people face to face when they come by the site. It’s hard work, and the sun can be brutal out here in the summer, but we like what we do. It’s just about getting the energy and agro side of things to work together for the local area without making it too complicated.
