I’ve been coming to M45 in the Additional Midc area for a long time now. Most mornings start with the same sound of heavy machinery starting up and the smell of grease in the air. We are Cooltech Engineers Pvt. Ltd., but to most of the guys around here, we’re just the shop on the corner where things get fixed. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really the priority when there’s a pile of work sitting on the floor. It gets pretty loud once the shift starts, and you have to shout just to be heard over the lathes. Some days the heat is a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof, but we just keep at it. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or a front desk person to greet you. Usually, you’ll find me or one of the mechanics with oil on our hands, trying to figure out why a part isn't fitting right. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years, and they know the machines better than anyone else. It's not a glamorous life, but it's what we know. People come to us when they have a problem they can't solve themselves, and we do what we can with the tools we have. Sometimes the supply of materials is late, and that slows things down, but that's just how it goes in this part of town.
