Chandori Dal Mill

Chandori Dal Mill is located out in the MIDC Ausa area. It is an industrial zone, so it is definitely not a fancy place to visit. There is always a lot of activity with machines running and trucks moving in and out. Because we process grain, it gets quite dusty around the mill, but that is just part of the job. We don't have a nice air-conditioned office. Most of our time is spent on the floor or in a small room near the entrance where we keep our records. The work is hard and the days start very early when the first loads arrive. Ausa is a good place for this kind of industry, and we have been here for many years. The roads in the MIDC can be a bit bumpy and get muddy when it rains. We don't use any corporate jargon or have long meetings. We just talk about the work, fix the machines when they break, and make sure the bags are filled correctly. Our staff are local people who know how to handle the equipment. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the country, we just want to do our work properly every day. If you come by, you will see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of dust. It’s a simple, hardworking life, and we are fine with that.
