Balaji Dal Mill

We are located over at Plot No. F-6 in the MIDC-Ii Phase. It’s one of those industrial areas where there is always something humming in the background. Balaji Dal Mill is a straightforward operation. We don’t have much in the way of decoration or anything like that because it’s a mill, after all. There is a lot of dust from the processing, and we just wear our work clothes and get on with it. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons and it can get pretty warm inside, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We see a lot of trucks coming through the gates every day. They bring in the raw stuff and take out the finished product. It’s a simple cycle that we’ve been doing at this MIDC location for quite a while now. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other’s business a bit. We take our lunch breaks together when things quiet down for a minute. You won't find any shiny showrooms here, just the machines and the sacks. We keep a log of everything on a clipboard by the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment is delayed, but that’s just how it goes. We are just part of the industrial landscape here in Phase II. It isn't much to talk about, but we’re here.
