Ajit Gears & Fabricators

We've been at W-102 in the Hinga MIDC area for quite some time now. The workshop is usually busy with the sound of machines running and people moving things around. If you walk into Ajit Gears & Fabricators, you'll see a lot of metal pieces and grease. We spend most of our days working on different types of gears and doing general fabrication work. It's not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get things done. Some mornings start slow with tea, then the orders come in and everyone gets to work. We have a few lathes and some welding equipment that keep us occupied. Usually, it gets pretty hot in here during the afternoons, but that is just how it is in the industrial zone. People come to us when they need a specific part made or something fixed that broke on their machine. We don't really have a big office or anything, just the workspace and some storage for raw materials. Sometimes we struggle with power cuts or a machine acting up, but we figure it out eventually. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. They know the sounds the machines make when they are running right. It’s a lot of manual work, getting our hands dirty every day. We just try to keep up with the work coming in from the nearby units. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We just focus on the metal in front of us.
