Working out here is a lot different than being in a big city like Kolkata or Mumbai. It’s more industrial and focused on the actual power projects that keep the group moving. The office is practical and built for the environment we are in, which means lots of dust and heavy machinery around the site. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of power generation and the various needs of the Abhijeet Group. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep a simple approach to how we handle things. There’s a lot of coordination involved because of our location in Latehar. We have to be mindful of the local surroundings and how we operate within the state of Jharkhand. It’s not a place for suits and ties every day, as we usually wear what’s sensible for the site and the weather. Most of the day is spent checking on progress and making sure the power requirements are being met. We don't have a fancy About Us page because the work speaks for itself when the lights stay on for people. It’s a rugged kind of work, and we have a tough team that knows how to handle the challenges of this region. We just do our part in the bigger picture. It’s a long way from the corporate headquarters.
