Living and working out on the Ambala - Chandigarh Highway means you get used to the constant sound of traffic. Gates India Pvt.Ltd is right in the middle of that rush. It’s a long stretch of road, and we see a lot of people passing through every day. The office isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we do. Usually, the morning starts with checking what came in overnight and seeing what needs to go out. The weather out here can be a bit extreme, either very cold in the winter or burning hot in the summer months. We drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have those big glass buildings you see in the city. Instead, it’s just a solid place where people show up and do their shift. Sometimes the internet is slow because we’re a bit out of the main town area, so we just wait it out. We talk about the local news and who’s doing what down the road. It’s a decent place to spend the day. Most of us have been here long enough that we don't even notice the trucks anymore. We just keep our heads down. There's always some maintenance to do or some inventory to count. It keeps the day moving fast. Before you know it, it’s time to head home and do it all again.
