It’s a well-known spot in this part of Lalitpur. Being tucked away behind the school means it can get a bit loud during recess, with all the kids playing, but it’s a good landmark for finding us. We are a small team and we handle the savings and credit needs of our local families. The name of our place means family future, and that’s really what we focus on—helping regular folks set something aside for later. We don't have a big lobby or fancy glass windows. It's just a comfortable room where we do our bookkeeping. Sometimes we have to share the space with a few bags of grain or some household items if things get cramped, but we make it work. We use simple ledgers and a basic computer for the records. People come in, have a seat, and we talk through what they need. There’s no pressure or corporate talk. We’re just neighbors helping neighbors. Most of our members are farmers or people running small stalls in the market. We understand how life goes here, with the seasons and the ups and downs. We’ve been part of the Mehroni community for a while and we plan to stay right here behind the school for as long as people need a place to save.
