Indraprasth Stones

Our yard is out on Devgarh Road in the Jugpura area. It is a bit of a drive out here but the space is good for keeping all the stone we have. The road can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, especially after the heavy rains. We have stacks of stone all over the property. Some of it has been sitting there for a bit and some of it moves out the same day it arrives. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to move the heavy stuff around. The office is just a small cabin near the front gate where we keep the ledger and the keys. It gets dusty because of the wind blowing across the open ground. We mostly deal with local builders and people from around the district who need materials for their projects. We don't do much in the way of sales pitches. If we have the stone you want, we show it to you and tell you the price. That is how it usually goes. The workers here are used to the heavy lifting and the sun. We take a long break in the middle of the day when the heat is at its worst. It is a quiet kind of work in a way, just moving rocks from one place to another and making sure the counts are right. We stay busy enough with the regular orders that come through.
