We are based over in Urapakkam, specifically at Sl Plaza on the Ayyencherry Main Road. It is a busy spot in the Kanchipuram district. Most days here start early with the sound of trucks and cars moving outside. Inside the office, we spend a lot of time putting together these first aid kits. There are boxes of bandages, rolls of tape, and bottles of antiseptic everywhere. We have a small team here at St Johns First Aid Kits Pvt. Ltd. and we mostly just focus on getting the orders packed right. The fans are always humming because it gets quite warm in this part of Tamil Nadu. Sometimes the delivery guys are late and we end up sitting around the front desk talking about the weather or the traffic on the main road. It is not a fancy place, just a regular office where we do our work. We have been in this building for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy checking inventory to worry about that. Every kit has to have all the right pieces, so we spend hours counting out small items and making sure nothing is missing from the plastic bags. It is a bit repetitive, but it is what we do. Ayyencherry Main Road is always noisy, but you get used to it after a few months. We just keep the door closed and focus on the kits. It is a simple life and we stay busy enough.
