We are set up at Power House Choraha, right on Old Gajner Road. It is a good spot because everyone passes through here eventually. We have been working on motors and cars at this location for quite some time. The yard can get a bit messy with parts and tools scattered around, but we usually know where everything is when we need it. It’s a bit of a dusty area, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the windshields. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with a TV. Usually, customers just stand around and chat with us while we look under the hood. It’s more personal that way, I think. Some of our tools are older than the mechanics using them, but they still do the job. We get all kinds of vehicles coming through, from old family cars to newer models that need a quick fix. We don't really follow a strict schedule; we just start when the sun comes up and keep going until the work is done. It’s a regular local shop where people stop by for a chat even if their car is running fine. We like it that way. No corporate rules here, just a bunch of guys who know their way around an engine. We also keep a stash of old magazines in the corner for whoever is waiting, though they are mostly out of date. The fan on the ceiling squeaks a bit when it's on high, but it helps with the heat. We’ve grown used to the sound of Gajner Road over the years.
