Our place is at Office No A-181 in Karni Nagar, which is over in the Lalgarh area. If you are looking for Chawla Industries, that is where you will find us most days of the week. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we handle all our business. Lalgarh is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside the window. We have been in Karni Nagar for a bit now and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and getting the lights on. It can get a bit cluttered inside with all the files and equipment, but we know where everything is. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing here. It’s more about sitting down and getting the work done without much fuss. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic on the main road, but that is just how it is in this part of Lalgarh. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by the office. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere nearby. It’s a plain, honest way to run a business. We just stay focused on what needs to happen today at A-181 and don't worry too much about the rest. That is basically our daily life.
