Ramraji Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in the village of Tarwa, which falls under the Lalganj tehsil. This is a rural area where everyone knows each other and most families have been farming for generations. We decided to put a name on what we do so we could work better as a group. Our office is just a simple room in the village where we keep our books and meet to talk about the crops. There are no fancy computers or air conditioning here. We spend most of our time outside in the dirt anyway. Whether it is rice, wheat, or whatever else is in season, we are focused on getting the best out of our land in Tarwa. People here work hard and we wanted a company that reflected that. We don't have a marketing department to write nice things about us. We just do the work and try to help the members of our producer company get a decent price. Lalganj is the nearest big area, but our heart is right here in the village. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours because everyone has an opinion on how things should be done. It is a bit messy at times, but it is real. We are just a bunch of neighbors trying to make the farming business a bit more stable for our families. It takes a lot of effort, but we enjoy the work we do together.
