Indian Tex

Indian Tex is located over in Lalapet, specifically on Dhannabhavi Street. We are right behind the Venkateswara Swamy Temple, so that’s usually how people find us if they get lost. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, except during festivals when the temple gets busy and the music is playing loud all day. We spend most of our mornings unloading bundles of fabric and getting things ready for whoever drops by. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a plain workspace where we keep our stock and handle orders. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we do. We’ve been at this for some time now and we know most of the regulars who come through. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but we just keep working through it. We don't have a big marketing department or fancy signs out front. Usually, people hear about us from their neighbors or other shopkeepers in the area. Managing the different types of cloth takes up most of our day. We have to be careful with the storage because of the dust from the road. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy rolls and measuring things out by hand, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady one that stays open when people need us. Our back room is always a mess of threads and scraps.
