Our unit is situated in Village Akbarpur, not too far from the Post Office in Laksar. This is where the grinding happens for the Roorkee area. It’s a loud place, to be honest, with the machines running most of the time. But that’s the sound of work getting done. We have a good group of guys here who know how to handle the equipment. We don’t have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people around Akbarpur know where we are. The dust can get thick, so we wear our gear and just get on with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just focus on the grinding process. It’s a straightforward operation. We get the raw materials in, process them, and then they are ready for the next step. The village life is slow, but the work here is fast-paced. We have to keep up with the demand. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do. We don’t mind it much. It’s better to be busy than sitting around. We talk about the weather or what’s happening in the village while we take our breaks. It’s a simple life.
