Universal Book Depot

You will find Universal Book Depot in Kheri, located on Mill Road. We are right by the Sabzi Mandi, which is the local vegetable market. This means our mornings are always very loud and busy with farmers and vendors all around us. Being near Gola Gokaran Nath also makes us easy to find for anyone in the area. Our shop is a bit older and has a lot of character. We have been selling books and various paper supplies at this spot for many years. It is not a polished or corporate kind of place. The floors are a bit worn and the shelves are a bit crooked, but it is our place. We don't have a huge staff, just a few local people who help us manage the inventory and serve the customers. The Mill Road area is the heart of trade in this part of Kheri, and we like being right in the middle of it. We get a real mix of people coming in, from students to local shopkeepers. We don't use any fancy sales talk or mission statements. We just try to have what people are looking for and sell it at a fair price. Sometimes the market gets so crowded it is hard to even walk to our front door, but that is just life in the Mandi. We enjoy the energy of the place and the daily interactions with our neighbors. It is a practical, down-to-earth business and we are proud to be here.
