Our office is located in Boalguri, Jorhatia, under the name Tk Engineering Consultant Pvt. Ltd. It sounds like a big title, but we are a small team working out of this local area. We spend most of our time looking at plans and trying to figure out how to solve practical problems for building projects. It’s not all clean desks and drawing boards; there’s a lot of mud on our boots from visiting various sites around Jorhatia. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. The office usually has rolls of blueprints everywhere and the smell of coffee. We handle the technical side of things, making sure everything is safe and follows the local rules. It’s a lot of math and double-checking measurements. Sometimes we have to explain things three or four times because engineering can get complicated, but we try to keep it simple for the people we work with. We aren't some giant firm from the city. We live right here and we care about how the structures in our town are put together. Most of our work comes from neighbors or local businesses that need an extra set of eyes on their construction plans. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the window light, but we always manage to keep things moving for our projects. It is a slow process but we like it.
