Subansiri Tea Packaging Unit

The packaging unit is based in Dhemaji, along NH-15. We are close to the Hanuman Temple, which helps people find the building. This isn't a retail shop, so you won't find customers sitting down for a drink. Instead, it’s a workspace where tea is handled in bulk. Hours are spent filling bags, sealing them, and getting everything ready for transport. Raw tea leaves have a nice scent that fills the whole space. It’s an industrial life on a small scale. We aren't part of a massive corporation. Just a local unit with a few people making sure the machines run right. Being on the highway means movement is constant outside. Truck and bus engines are heard all day long. Sometimes we take a break and go to the temple when things get a bit hectic. Fancy offices and marketing teams don't exist here. We focus entirely on the packaging. Concrete floors and tea crates stacked to the ceiling define the space. The physical work is hard and the shifts are long. But the routine feels good. We keep the packets moving and stay organized in our own way here in Dhemaji. The work is steady and it keeps us busy. Hanuman Temple is a great landmark to have next door. Dhemaji is a busy place to work.
