Richie Traders

Richie Traders is located right here in Bhatnagar Colony in Lakhimpur. If you know the Nila Maidan Dharam Kanta, we are just near that spot. We’ve been operating out of this place for quite some time now. Most days start early when the trucks come in. Lakhimpur can get pretty hot in the summer, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before the sun is directly overhead. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our stock and talk to the people who stop by. We deal with various trading goods that people in the district need. Sometimes the roads get a bit crowded near the colony, especially when there is an event at the Maidan. We just manage through it. The staff here are mostly local guys from the post Lakhimpur area. We know the neighbors and they know us. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they were passing by the Dharam Kanta. It’s a simple setup. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and making sure things are where they should be. The office is small and usually has a fan running constantly. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner. That’s pretty much how things go here at Richie Traders every day from morning until we lock up.
