Kris Resort

Kris Resort is basically run through Alok Misra and S M Misra at their place in Govind Nagar. We are located out on Nighasan Road, specifically in the Saidhery area of Lakhimpur Kheri. This part of Uttar Pradesh is quite different from the big cities. It is much more spread out and you see a lot more trees and open space. The pin code here is 262701 if you are looking it up on a map. Our office is more of a local house setup. We handle all the resort business from here. It is a very quiet road, mostly just local people going to and from their farms or small shops. We don't have any neon signs or big fancy entrance gates. It’s just a gate and a simple building. Inside, we have our ledgers and some old computers. We spend our time talking to people who want to come and stay with us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the porch for a bit until it comes back. It’s a slow pace of life compared to places like Delhi or Lucknow. We take things as they come. The family has been here for a long time, so everyone in the area knows where we are. It’s a very practical way to run a resort, focusing on the basics and staying connected to the local neighborhood every day.
