Fancy Garments Store

Our shop is right by Mela Maidan, specifically Gate Number 2 in the second lane. If you’re in Gola Gokran Nath, you probably know the area. Fancy Garments Store is a small place, but we pack it full of whatever clothes are in style at the moment. We don't have those big glass windows like the malls. Instead, we hang things up where people can touch the fabric and see the colors for themselves. It’s often a bit messy because people are always pulling things out to check the size. We try to keep things folded, but by the end of a busy Saturday, it’s a bit of a disaster. I run the place with my wife, and we’ve seen all sorts of people come through those doors. Some people want something bright for a wedding, while others are just looking for a shirt to wear to work. We don't do any big advertising. We just rely on people walking past and seeing something they like. The lighting isn't great, and the mirror in the back has a little crack in the corner, but it does the job. We know most of our regular customers by name and what their kids usually wear. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to sell decent clothes for a fair price without making a big fuss about it. We stay open late most nights.
