Fancy Boutique Center

We are over in the Karghena Building in Muneer Khan Mohallah. It’s a local neighborhood, the kind of place where people know each other. Fancy Boutique Center isn't one of those high-street shops. We’re in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a bit of fresh paint now and then. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the sewing machines. The sound of the needles is the main thing you hear all day. We have heaps of different fabrics sitting around. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we’re busy with a lot of orders at once. Muneer Khan Mohallah can be quite loud, with kids playing outside and neighbors calling out to each other. We like that energy. It makes the day go by faster. We don’t have a fancy reception or a big sign with lights. People just know where the Karghena Building is and they find their way up to us. Most of our work comes from the people living right here in the mohallah. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in for their own clothes. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working together. We don’t try to act like a big corporation. We just focus on the stitching and the fitting. It’s honest, local work that keeps us going in this little corner of town.
