If you head down to Station Road in Lakhimpur Kheri, you’ll find us. Bansal Iron Store is situated right near the Old Bus Stand. It’s a noisy spot because of all the buses and people moving around, but we like it that way. Being near the station means there is always life on the street. Our shop is full of iron and metal goods. It’s not the cleanest place because iron is heavy and leaves marks, but it shows we are actually working. We spend a lot of time moving stock around and talking to people who come in from the surrounding villages. Lakhimpur Kheri is a place where people know each other, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. We don't have a polished showroom or bright lights. It’s just a practical store with a lot of heavy stuff. The Old Bus Stand is the best landmark to use if you are looking for us. We open the shutters early and close them when the sun goes down. Sometimes we have tea with the other shopkeepers on Station Road. It’s a simple life. We don't use big words or try to act like something we aren't. We are just the guys at Bansal Iron Store. If the floor is a bit cluttered, it’s because we just unloaded a truck. That is just how a real iron store looks.
