Shri Niwas Clinic

The Main Road in Basoli is always a bit dusty, especially when the tractors go past. That is where Shri Niwas Clinic is located, out here in the Hindoli Tehsil of Bundi district. It is a quiet kind of life compared to the big cities. We see a lot of people from the nearby farms who come in after a long day of work. The clinic isn't very big, just a couple of rooms and a small area for people to wait. We have a wooden bench out front where people sit and talk about the weather or the crops while they wait for their turn. My family has been in this area for a long time, so we know most of the people who come in by their first names. We deal with a lot of heat exhaustion and minor injuries from the fields. In the evenings, the sun sets right behind the hills and the whole clinic gets this orange glow. We don't have fancy machines, just the basic stuff we need to check people over. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we do most of our record-keeping in big paper ledgers with blue ink. It takes more time, but it works fine for us. Hindoli is a small place, and everyone knows where the clinic is on the main road. We keep the doors open to let the breeze in, even if it brings in a bit of sand. It is just a regular clinic for regular people.
