Raj Clinics

Raj Clinics is located in Bundi Ka Gothada, right in front of the High Secondary School in the Hindoli district of Bundi. Being across from a school means our days are timed by the sounds of students. In the morning there is a lot of noise when they arrive, and then it gets quiet until their break time. Our clinic is a simple structure with a couple of rooms. We have a few benches outside under the shade for people to sit if the inside gets too warm. Bundi is a place where the sun can be quite harsh, so we try to keep the place as cool as possible with fans. We handle all kinds of basic health stuff for the village folks. Most of our patients are people we see every day at the market or around town. We have a wooden cabinet where we keep our basic supplies and a small table where we do our writing. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like the big hospitals you see in the cities. We prefer it this way because it feels more like part of the community. Sometimes a teacher from the school will drop by, or a parent waiting for their child. We stay open throughout the day and usually close up once the school has been empty for a while and the sun starts to set. It’s a steady pace of life here in Hindoli and we are just glad to be a part of it.
