Khalsa Clinic

Khalsa Clinic is right on the Main Road here in Basoli. We are part of the Hindoli Tehsil in the Bundi district. Being on the main road means we get a lot of people passing through on their way to other towns. It's a good spot because people can see us easily. The clinic is pretty straightforward. We've got a small waiting area and a room where we see the patients. It's usually quite busy during the morning hours when the farmers come in before heading to the fields. We handle all sorts of regular health issues. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we're always cleaning the shelves. We don't have any big signs or neon lights, just a plain one so people know where to turn. Bundi is a beautiful district but it can be a bit remote, so we try to keep the basic stuff available here so people don't have to travel too far. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have some backup for the lights. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized, especially when several people show up at once. My desk is usually covered in papers and records. We just do our best to help everyone who walks through the door. It's a humble place, but it's ours and it serves the village well. We've been here long enough that we know the seasonal illnesses that come around. We just keep working through it day by day.
