H T Shah & Company is situated right on Charni Road in the Ahmed Building. We occupy units 421 and 423. It’s directly opposite Islam Pura Street, so there is never a quiet moment outside. You can hear the cars and the people shouting all through the day. Our office is a bit old-fashioned and filled with stacks of files and various papers. We don't have a modern look or any sleek furniture. It’s just desks, chairs, and the work we do. The building has a lot of character, even if the lift is a bit moody sometimes. We often find ourselves taking the stairs when we are in a hurry. Being in this part of the city means we are close to a lot of other businesses. We know the people at the nearby stalls and often grab a tea while we talk about the day's events. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend money on marketing or big signs. People usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them where we are. Each day is pretty much the same routine of opening the files and answering the phone. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have our fans running. We just focus on getting through the tasks without any unnecessary complications. That is just how we have always operated here.
