Promac Espresso Coffee Machines

Our workshop for Promac Espresso Coffee Machines is located over at 834-702 Jayen & Knygnam, which is part of the Aneosvill area in Neungdong. It’s a bit of a trek out to Hwaseon-si for some people, but it’s where we have the space to work on these big machines. The place is usually filled with the sound of steam valves clicking and grinders being tested. We have rows of espresso machines in various states of being fixed or cleaned up. It’s a lot of technical work, dealing with copper pipes, electrical boards, and group heads. Sometimes we get a machine in that’s been used so much it’s completely scaled up, and it takes us the whole day just to get it apart. We drink a lot of coffee ourselves while we work, mostly just testing the shots from the machines we are finishing up. The building in Soopsock Maul is pretty modern, but our specific unit is full of tools, spare gaskets, and crates. It’s not a showroom where you come to sit and relax; it’s a working shop where we get our hands dirty with coffee oils and old water stains. We have a small crew and we mostly just talk about parts and pressure settings all day. It's a niche kind of life, but it keeps us busy enough in this part of town with the smell of roasted beans in the air.
