Sri Anu Furnitures

Our place, Sri Anu Furnitures, is right across from the HDFC Bank here in Chanda Nagar. The address is 4-100, and it is a spot we have called home for a good bit now. Chanda Nagar is always buzzing with activity, so there is never really a quiet moment. We have got a lot of items packed into the shop, so you have to watch your step a little when you walk through. It is not a polished store like the ones you see in the big malls. It is just us doing what we do every day. Sometimes it gets a little disorganized, especially when a new delivery comes in, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who walk in off the street. It is nice because you get to know the locals. We are not much for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. People in the neighborhood just know we are here. The heat can be a bit much in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. It is a simple operation. We do not have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent shop. If you are in the area, you will see us right there on the main road, probably moving some heavy stuff.
