If you come down to Road No. 7 in Ida Kukatpally, you’ll find us at D-5. Gandhinagar is a busy area, so the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings. We’ve been running Skm Technologies Pvt. Ltd. from this spot for a few years. It’s basically a workshop floor with a small partitioned office for the computer work. We handle a lot of tech-related assembly and some circuit board stuff too. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have those bright overhead lamps for the precision tasks. It gets quite noisy when the cooling fans are all running. We mostly deal with other businesses in the area who need quick turnarounds on components. There’s always someone coming in or going out with a box of parts. We don't really do much advertising. Most people just find us by word of mouth or seeing the sign outside. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is a pain, but we’ve got backups for the important stuff. The lunch break is usually just us sitting around the back table eating from tiffins. It's a simple operation, nothing too corporate. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, so we stay late. It’s just how things go when you’re working with hardware. It's a solid little place and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area now.
