Simplex Infrastructures Limited

Out here in Shamshabad, our office for Simplex Infrastructures Limited sits directly across from Mircle Fodder & Feeds. It’s a busy little spot in Uttar Pradesh, especially with all the trucks coming and going for the feed store throughout the day. We spend most of our time dealing with the nuts and bolts of the local infrastructure work. The office itself is nothing special to look at. It has a flat roof and white walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we had the time. We have a big wooden table in the middle where we spread out the site plans. Usually, there are three or four of us huddled around it arguing over a measurement or a delivery schedule. The light in the late afternoon gets very bright, so we have some thick curtains to keep the glare off our computer screens. We get our lunch from a small dhabha down the street, usually something simple like dal and roti. There’s a lot of noise from the main road, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We don’t really do formal meetings here. If someone needs to talk, we just stand around the water cooler or sit on the front steps for a bit. It is a very hands-on way to run things. We care more about getting the concrete poured right than having a shiny office. Our team just focuses on the daily tasks.
