Rehman Timber Traders

If you find yourself near the Galaxy Theatre in Toli Chowki, you aren't far from our timber yard. Rehman Timber Traders is located at 8-1-348 in Rahul Colony, and you can usually smell the fresh wood before you even see the gate. We spend most of our time dealing with raw timber, planks, and all sorts of wood that people need for building things or making their own furniture. The ground is almost always covered in a layer of sawdust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up at the end of the day. It’s a busy spot because this part of Toli Chowki has so much going on with the theatre and the local shops nearby. We have stacks of wood piled high, and we know exactly which pile has the seasoned teak and which one is just basic pine. It isn't a clean or quiet job, but we enjoy being outdoors and working with our hands. We get all sorts of people coming in, from contractors who need a whole truckload to neighbors who just need a single piece of wood to fix a broken fence. We just keep our heads down and focus on the wood. It’s been our life for a long time and we don't plan on changing much about how we do things in Rahul Colony.
