Ravi Furniture House

We have been running Ravi Furniture House for a good number of years now out of the Fathima Warehouse Complex. If you know the Railway Goods Shed Road in Moosapet, you know it stays pretty busy with all the trucks moving in and out. Our space is basically a big warehouse where we keep all sorts of things people need for their houses. We started out just doing a few basic items but eventually the stock grew until we filled up unit 7-20/59. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning that makes you freeze, it is just a practical place to see what you are buying. People usually come by when they are looking for a new bed frame or maybe some chairs for the dining room. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down before anyone sees them. It’s just me and a couple of others handling the heavy lifting and helping folks load their stuff onto their vehicles. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment comes in, it can get a bit crowded for a day or two. Most of the neighbors know us by now since we’ve been on this road so long. It is a straightforward business, no big secrets or complicated systems, just furniture and plenty of it piled up in our warehouse.
