We are based out of Sai Harsha Towers in Gayatri Nagar. It’s up on the fifth floor, flat 501. It’s a quiet enough spot in Hyderabad, away from the main city rush but still busy enough with all the local development going on. Being engineers and contractors means our boots are usually dirty from visiting sites in Jillelguda and Vyshali Nagar. We do a lot of the planning and the actual labor management ourselves. It’s a lot of responsibility making sure a structure is solid. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks. As long as the computers work and we have enough tea to get through the afternoon, we are good. Sometimes the projects take longer than we want because of permit issues or rain, but that’s just part of the life. We’ve been in this trade for a long time. You learn a lot by just being on the ground and seeing how things actually get built. We aren't much for talking big. We just look at the drawings and try to follow them as best as we can. Our workers are mostly locals who know the terrain well. It’s a decent life, even if it gets stressful when deadlines are breathing down our necks. We just take it one day at a time and keep the engines running. There is always another site to go check on and more materials to order for the guys.
