Oak Wood International School

Our school is over at No 1-4-477 in the Kothapet area of Hyderabad. It’s a busy neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for several years. The building has a few floors, and we use every bit of space we have for the different classes. It’s not a fancy campus with huge fields, but we have enough room for the students to get their work done. In the mornings, the street outside gets pretty crowded with parents dropping off their kids. We have a small gate where everyone enters, and it gets quite noisy until the first bell rings. The classrooms are basic, just desks, chairs, and whiteboards. You won't find high-tech gadgets in every corner, just the things that are necessary for teaching. The teachers here are local people who have been with us for a long time. We have a routine that we follow every day, starting with a small assembly. Lunchtime is always a bit of a rush in the corridors. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but with so many students, it’s a constant task. Hyderabad summers are tough, so we make sure the fans are always running. Most of our students live nearby in the surrounding apartments. We don't use any flashy marketing. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the kids are doing their homework. It’s a straightforward, local school that has been around for quite a while now.
