Nac

The National Academy of Construction campus in Cyberabad is where we spend all our time. Most people just call it Nac. It’s a pretty large area in Hyderabad, zip code 500032. If you walk through the campus, you’ll see it’s a bit of a mix of old and new buildings. We have areas dedicated to different parts of the construction world. Some days we are looking at masonry and other days it is all about electrical work. It’s a practical environment through and through. The staff here isn't into fancy suits; we are mostly in work clothes because we are often out on the field with the students. There is a lot of dust and noise, but that’s what happens when you are teaching people how to build things properly. The office where we handle the registrations and the paperwork is usually humming with activity. We have old metal filing cabinets and printers that sometimes jam when we are in a hurry. It’s just the reality of running a big training center. We’ve seen a lot of people pass through these gates over the years and go on to work on big projects across the country. It’s good to see that progress. We don't have any big speeches or mission statements posted everywhere. We just get the tools out and start the day’s lessons. It’s honest, hard work and we like it that way in our corner of the city.
