Lamco Lightening Arrester Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd. is based in the industrial estate over at Sanathnagar. We are located in units B-38 and B-39. Being situated in an industrial estate means we are constantly surrounded by other manufacturers and workshops, so there is always the sound of heavy machinery and trucks moving in the air. We have been here for quite a few years now. The space we have in B-38 and B-39 is where all the actual manufacturing and assembly work happens. It is a very functional place with high ceilings and plenty of room for our specialized equipment. We don't have a polished or fancy corporate office; it is much more of a working factory floor where everyone knows exactly what their job is. The Sanathnagar area is actually great for this kind of industrial work because all the infrastructure is already in place for moving goods in and out. We spend our days making sure the production line is moving steadily and that everything is being built the way it is supposed to be. It can get pretty warm in the summer months inside the units, but we just keep the industrial fans going and stay focused on our tasks. It is a no-nonsense environment through and through. Most of the staff here have been with the company for a long time, so we have become like a small community within the larger estate. We are just a group of people making things and keeping the business running from our spot in Sanathnagar. It is hard work but it is what we know.
