Lakshmi Gift Articles is located over in Anjaiah Nagar, right in the Gachibowli area. If you live around here, you probably know how much this part of town has changed with all the big buildings going up. Our shop is at 171-135, and it is full of all kinds of things like photo frames, wall hangings, and small toys. We usually spend the morning dusting off the shelves and rearranging the display items so people can see what we have. Gachibowli gets so much traffic these days, so we see a lot of people stopping by on their way home from work to pick up a quick gift. It is a small place, but we try to keep a good variety of stuff so there is always something different to look at every time someone walks in. We do a lot of gift wrapping, which can take a while if it is a busy evening and we are out of the good tape. Sometimes we sit out front on a chair when it is quiet and watch the cars go by on the main road. We have been here long enough that we know many of the families in Anjaiah Nagar by their first names. It is just a regular shop where we do our own thing and help folks find a nice present for their friends or family members. Nothing too complicated, just a local spot that has been part of the neighborhood for quite a while now.
