L. B. Tekplast Ltd.

We’ve been at 88/3 in Phase II of the IDA in Cherlapally for quite a while now. L. B. Tekplast Ltd. is basically where we spend most of our waking hours. It is a bit dusty around here most days because of all the industrial activity and the trucks moving in and out of the estate, but that is just how Cherlapally is. Most of the people working here live nearby and walk or bike in. We usually start things up pretty early in the morning when it is still cool. The building itself isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular practical place where we get our things done. Sometimes the traffic getting into the IDA is a real mess, especially near our turn-off, but we are used to it. We deal with plastics mostly, as you can probably tell from the name on the gate. It can get quite hot in the afternoons during the summer, so we keep the big industrial fans running all day long just to stay comfortable. A lot of our neighbors are also in manufacturing or engineering. We know the tea stall guy down the road pretty well and see him every morning. Dealing with the day-to-day stuff keeps us busy enough. We don't really have a big fancy office, just a simple desk and some plastic chairs where we handle the paperwork. If you are coming down to see us at Phase II, just look for our sign. It is a very practical setup we have here.
