Internal Audit Officer

This office is located right in the middle of New Maruthi Nagar, over in the Dilsukah Nagar area of Hyderabad. It’s a busy part of town, and finding our door can be a little tricky if you’re not looking closely at the building numbers. We’ve been at this 1/5/13/1 address for quite some time. Most of what happens here is just quiet desk work, lots of looking through files and checking numbers until our eyes get tired. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of people; it’s just a small setup where we handle the auditing tasks. The neighborhood is always noisy with traffic from Chaitanya Puri, so there is usually a background hum of scooters and cars while we work. We take our tea breaks at the corner shop when things get a bit too quiet in the office. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People usually just drop by with their documents and we sort through them. The desks are always covered in piles of paper and folders. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning till evening. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out like everyone else on the street. It’s a local place, and we like the rhythm of this part of Hyderabad. We just focus on the books and make sure everything adds up. No complicated mission statements here, just auditing.
