Instrument Techniques (P) Ltd

Our workshop is over at B-2, Cooperative Industrial Estate in Balanagar. We’ve been at this location for years under the name Instrument Techniques (P) Ltd. It’s a bit of a maze getting back to our unit if you don't know the way. We mostly spend our days looking through magnifying glasses or using small tools on circuit boards and gauges. It’s quiet work compared to the metal shops down the road. You have to have steady hands for this kind of thing. The light in the shop isn't great, so we all have those adjustable lamps on our desks. Sometimes we run out of solder or a specific wire, and someone has to run out to the local market to grab some. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us and the owner. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. The shelves are packed with old manuals and spare parts that we might need one day. It gets a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Balanagar is a busy industrial hub, so there’s always a lot of noise from trucks outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the instruments. It’s what we know how to do. We don't have a website that works very well, so most people just come by. We like the personal touch of seeing our customers face to face.
