The Indian Green Building Councilconfederation Of Indian Industry has been around for a while now, working out of our office in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh 500070. It is a busy place where we spend most of our time talking about how buildings are put together and what that means for the environment. People come to us when they want to know more about making their projects a bit more efficient. We aren't a big flashy corporate office, just a group of people who understand how the industry works in India. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that is just part of the job. Being part of the Confederation of Indian Industry means we have a lot of connections, but at the end of the day, we are just focused on the practical side of green building. The weather in Hyderabad can get pretty hot, so we definitely understand why people want buildings that stay cool naturally. We spend our mornings going through local standards and our afternoons meeting with builders who are trying to do things a bit differently. It's not always easy to change how people think about construction, but we just keep at it. We’ve been at this address for some time, and it feels like a second home to most of the staff here. We don't really do the whole fancy sales pitch thing. We just show people what works and what doesn't based on the data we have.
