Dlf Laing O'Rourke

Our office is located at H.No.8-1-303/84 in the Vivekananda Nagar Colony of Hyderabad. It’s a residential colony, so the atmosphere is a lot calmer than the main commercial hubs of the city. We operate Dlf Laing O'Rourke out of what looks like a regular house from the outside. Inside, it’s all business, but with a bit of a homey feel. We have converted the rooms into workspaces and meeting areas. There’s a small garden area in the front, though we don't always have time to look after the plants properly. Being in Hyderabad, we deal with a lot of local projects and people. The office is often full of the sound of people talking on phones and the printer running. We don't have a fancy canteen, so we usually sit together in the main room to eat our lunch. It’s a very basic environment without any of that modern corporate flash. We value the fact that we can just focus on the engineering and the numbers without any distractions. The street outside is quiet, and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at all hours. Sometimes the local kids play cricket on the road, and we have to be careful when we drive out. It is a peaceful place to spend our working hours and the neighbors are quite friendly. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks.
