Cognizant

Our office is actually a house, number 8 1 523 279 2 in Brindavan Colony. It’s in the Tollichowki area of Hyderabad, which anyone who lives here knows is a very busy spot. The traffic on the main road can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, but once you get into the colony, it quietens down a bit. Our office is essentially a house that we’ve converted to work out of. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel, which we think is better than those cold, glass buildings. Cognizant is the name on the door. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly involving data and tech stuff that keeps us glued to our chairs for most of the day. Since we are in 500008, we are close to a lot of good food places, so lunch is usually the highlight of the day. We aren't a big team, just a few of us trying to keep things running smoothly. Sometimes the printers jam or the internet gets slow, but we manage. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home to our families. It’s a regular job in a regular neighborhood, and that’s pretty much all there is to it. We keep it simple and stay focused on the tasks.
