Bharat Sports Co is right on the main road in Kondapur, Hyderabad. We’re at Plot No 1, taking up Shop No 2-40/4/1/A. Being on the main road means we get a lot of noise and dust from the traffic, but it also means people can find us easily enough. The shop is usually packed with all sorts of gear, from cricket bats and balls to footballs and sports shoes. It’s not a high-end boutique; it’s a proper sports shop where you might have to move a box of shuttlecocks just to see what’s on the shelf behind it. We spend most of our time talking to customers who come in looking for a specific size or wanting to know which bat has the best grip. Sometimes it’s just local kids coming in to browse and dream about the equipment they want to buy. The floor gets a bit scuffed up from people trying out shoes, and the lights might flicker a bit, but it’s a comfortable place. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or corporate talk. We just know our stock and try to help people find what they need for their games. Hyderabad is a busy city, and Kondapur is always moving, so we’re just here from morning until night, keeping the shop open and chatting about sports with anyone who wanders in. It’s a simple business, and we like the direct way we get to work with folks.
